Math Daily 5

Ok friends...I kept holding out hope that the Sisters would be posting more about this at their website, but not yet...so I am asking all of you to help me out...
How many of you do a sort of Math Workshop/Math Daily 5 in your classrooms already? What does it look like? I want to do this in my room this year and need some great ideas. I am counting on my bloggy friends for all sorts of clever ideas and helpful hints.
Thanks!

Hi,
I did a brief post about this where I did labels for the Math Daily 5. If you Join the Sisters website they do have more information about. I made labels with the 5 center titles they use. Then I have been dowloading centers from everyone's blogs all summer like crazy to use at the various ones. Hope this helps.

Our district uses a program called Everyday Math. It is a pretty scripted guided math program. I really thought that it would not be possible, then I found Beth Newingham's website. She lays out how she does a math workshop with the same program we use. It worked out really well for my 4/5 grade classroom last year. I will definitely be doing it again this year in my straight 3rd grade class.
